Lid & cat back is all . Don't want headers or stiff gears just a small cam & tune.

If I had a Automatic Camaro I wouldnt put the Hot Cam I would go with the 2002 LS6 cam. I have had very good luck out of them (204/218 Dur @0.050 and 550/550 Lift) you can pick the cam up for around $250.00. They recommend you run 7.45 pushrods because the base circle is smaller and the 2002 LS6 had a little longer valves but the car will run faster with 7.40 pushrods looser is faster. Comp cam 918 springs because I believe they are good to 600 lift for extra security. Set you rev limiter up to 6500 to 6600 RPM and pull a few degress of timing out of the computer. I have seen this cam with stock LS1 241 heads go 12.00 1/4 on M/T drag radials and dyno 377rwhp but these were 6 speed cars. and the Hot Cam car I done only done 385rwhp and the LS6 cam car whooped its butt LOL.

do not waste your time. end of discussion.

you're going to spend all that money on a cam, intsall, tuning, and its going to make **** for power, sound like *** with your stock exhaust and you're going to be pissed.

just get nitrous, if you dont care about power and just want the sound, you still need to do a full exhaust.

The cheater from Thunder Racing:

Thunder Racing Custom Camshaft
"CheaTR" - 214/230 .601/.575 117 LSA. Off Idle-6800 RPM Power Band. Broad power range. Works well with stock exhaust manifolds and catalytic converters. Stock like idle. Minor tuning required on automatic transmission cars. Responds very well to nitrous. Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft, the use of 1.8 rockers is not recommended. Double valve springs and titanium retainers required for this cam.
Here is there site as well: http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...&vid=3&pcid=51
Thunder Racing is a great shop to deal with.

CheaTR. It is designed for stock ehaust cars. Just look at the bias on the exhaust duration. Pretty good lift too. I think it will give you the most with your planned setup for sure. I would personally go lower on LSA but I am not trying to go stealth (when I do mine). Dayuuum!! I hope to be postinfg a dynograph in February. Depends on my divorce which sucks too! AAAWWW well. More opportunities here as well. Pics to prove it haha!!
