Default Scorpion Rockers

Has anyone dynoed with the scorpion 1.7's? I have head about people using these with good luck once they filled down the inside of ther valve covers because some have been hitting but has anyone dynoed with a dyno graph? If so please post up the graph!

There have been a few instances of broken Scorpions, not sure why, but you may want to do some searching. I would personally go with the Yella Terra over the Scorpion, they seem to have a better track record.

Also just keep in mind that harland sharpe also offers a rebuild service for $250 on your stock rockers. I was really impressed with the ones they did for me.

I just bought a extra set of stockers just for this so I wouldn't have any down time. Best way to go unless you have a radical combo I'd say.

im running the scorpions on my 01 ss, i havent had any issues with them yet and i beat on my car pretty hard after the head install

What are you reving to? Any valve float?

6600-6700 and as far as i know there is no valve float

I installed a set of Scorpions on a Silverado last April. No problems at all and the ads they run now(Chevy High Performance, GM High Tech Performance) say they have a lifetime warranty. I don't know of any other brands doing that.

I think the scorpions look like a really nice piece... Lifetime Warranty... I wouldn't be too scared of em...

besides.... the very few problems they had in the beginning i heard they fixed...

Yep, just came back from Wally World and saw the same ad. They do look nice, but there have a been a few people who had problems with them but never reported back the findings.

I think i am going to install a set of the 1.7's on my SSS and see how they do!
