tsp 228r vs. spdc 228/228 vs. possible custom grinded 228
stock 01 ws6 with lid/filter, full exhaust longtubes, etc..
6 speed stock gears.
I am looking to accomplish these:
1.powerband I am looking for around 1600-6000
2.a pretty flat tq curve from 3500 - 6000
3. hp peaking roughly 6000
4. very choppy idle
tsp 228r: 228/228 .588/.588, 112 lsa +2 I think it has
spdc 228: 228/228 .600/.600, 113 lsa not sure on advance
custom 228/228 .600/.600, 111 lsa +2 I guess would be optimal
using dual springs regardless, hardened pushrods 7.4 most likely.
not sure what lobes are better and dont even know what to use for the possible custom one, with the very vague differences might as well just get a tsp 228r but wanted alittle more choppier idle I think.

I have had the 228R for about 2 weeks now. I did have the Torquer V3.
The 228R is a very nice streetable cam. The idle is not was I would call "choppy". The Torquer V3 fit that bill.
According to my cam card, the 228R has no advance ground into it.
