solid roller build. what heads??
as the title says...search has been a bit disappointing in this field...
looking at running a 408 solid roller, basically a track car.
jesel rockers, isky lifters, etc.
HKE short block, callies crank and rods, wiseco pistons, etc.
looking to run pump gas with this setup, and spray a direct port progressive on a stand alone fuel system.
the only thing that truly has me stumped is the cylinder heads.
I know for a fact that this isn't something out of the norm. but according to the AFR website the biggest spring you can run is a 1.470 which is good to around .675 lift in what I found.
what about mid 700 lift springs? the 1.550 diameter springs
what about ETP heads?
more specifically what about the ETP C5R heads?

If you have already bought your pistons you may be stuck with stock heads as the combustion chamber shape on aftermarket heads is different than stock and most domed pistons will hit.
I'm not sure about all aftermarket heads but I know for sure AFRs and TFSs are different. Might be something to check out.

you cant go wrong with the c5r heads. most likely the best head ever made for our cars. my buddie is running those heads on his car and has been 9.60's on motor w/ pump gas and drag radials.

Im using a stock casting with PSI springs. Altho they wont take the kind of lift your talking about, they fit in the stock spring pocket, and have 220 on the seat and 550 open.
