Just a word to the wise, I'd call Patriot to make sure your heads are OK...they called me yesterday saying there were a bunch of heads sent out with bad valves.
I'm now out $700 since I had the heads installed and they have to be pulled again.

Re: Starting heads/cam install tonight!!!
the bolt isn't really in there that tight...i broke mine loose with a 3ft extension and a regular deep 24mm ...costs like 8 bucks...one for a impact would be around 20. the cheap one will be fine.

I do have to say Texas Speed and Patriot tried their hardest to get them to me today, Terry even fixed the heads before he sent them out, he put SI valves in there for me. It's just sad that it didn't work out.
Oh well, dissapointed and discouraged, rest asured, next weekend I'm tearing this bad boy apart!!!!

Re: Starting heads/cam install tonight!!!
The night I got my call from Terry, I had just finished putting the heads on the car (torqued to specs and everything)... There I stood, holding the phone, looking at the heads, realizing that I'll need to pull them off...
I wasn't a happy camper, but I must truly hand it to them for calling me before I had to call them down the road. Hopefully, I'll get my new valves, gaskets and bolts on Monday so I can keep going.
Terry, if you're reading this, I wasn't PO'd at you - just the situation - and really appreciate you caring enough about your customers to make things right. I know making those calls wasn't easy. I can't wait to fire my baby up again and see what she'll do!
