Cam suggestions please - stock heads.
I have a 98 SS M6 and am soon going to add LT headers (as soon as I decide which ones). But was wondering what cam would be good with:
Stock heads
Have a broad HP/TQ curve under 6,000 RPM
Not be too hard on the valvetrain - upgrade springs okay
A proven performer at the track
Not need tuning RIGHT away
I have been over at LS1 for a while, but you guys seem to have more "in the trench time" here and was wondering what suggestions you may have for my little 98.

Damn. I would like it to have good driving manners - how would that cam idle? How big can you go before tuning is needed with a cam? How big before the valvetrain has to have MAJOR upgrades? I have seen some crazy numbers with the new LG cam, but I see people talking about dual valvesprings and warming up the car before getting into it etc - I don't think I want that kind of troubles.

Wow - that car must be a factory freak! Over 400HP with bolt ons and a cam - you have my full attention. I may have to look into this. Any other users with similar numbers?
