Default bang and smoke, help?

Hey, im a buildin up my z28 i have put ported ls6 heads, 114 cams, typhoon intake, and now im needing some help i done every thing by the books and im in trouble now
i went to start her up for the first time and bang and smoke coming ouut the intake what needs to be done? help

i think i found the problem..... our engines only need 1 cam not 114 cams


sorry that was lame. but we need more info to help. all cam specs? heads milled? did install the cam dot to dot or 180 out

This is just a shot in the dark, but did you check the piston to valve clearance?

Crane Cams LS1 1.78 - 1.7 rocker kit

dots are lined up and ptv is good

just sounds like to me it just spit back. Did you try to start it after it done that?

ya that cam isnt big enough to be hitting pistons check your plugs and wires again and roll her over

If you do not have coil rails, check you placed each one in the right position and connected them correctly
