Hey guys (and gals) I have an 03 2500HD work truck with a leaking exhaust maifold. The two far back bolts on the driver side are broken off. Don't know if I pull the manifold if the bolts are broken off flush or if they broke off at the manifold where I may be able to get some vise grips on them to take them out. What want to know is has anyone else experienced this? How much of a pain is it if I have to pull the head off? I have a set of left handed drill bits that would probably get them out but I dont have room for an angle drill on the back bolt. Just looking for advice or prior experience I guess. Don't bash me too bad for not searching but I'm about to go to bed.
Thanks.... Scott

had this happen on a T/A of my friends we were putting headers on. we welded a nut to the end of the bolt sticking out of the head and turned it out that way.
