Re: Is there a replacement for the 941 spring without machining? Maybe I am wrong but I was told the Agostino heads I have are an earlier version that won't tke the 918s?

You need to check with ARE on this. If they changed the valve stem diameter then there is no retainer that will work with the 918s. In that case you'll need to stay with the 941s or something like the Isky 295Ds.
