Cool Urgent: Ls1 Cam swap Need Info

i have a 99 ss 6 spd with a stock set up 241 heads ls1 intake and am looking to upgrade it with a ls1 custom cam set up and get in the neighborhood of 400-425rwhp the only upgrade i have done to the car is a muffler and full lid set up. i am looking into getting some LT's an off road Y-pipe and an ls6 intake. what size throttle body would be good to use on the ls6 intake to upgrade from stock?
here is the cam set up i am looking at:

Z+220 SDPC LS1 Custom Camshaft - 220/224, 0.551/0.551, 114

The Z-Plus 220 is a step above the venerable Z06 camshaft, excellent choice for stock cylinder heads and mild bolt-on upgrades.

my question is will that patriot performance spring kit match the specs of what that cam needs also what ratio on the rockers would i need to go with
on that set up ? the cam is a scoggin dickeys/crane cam custom camshaft.
also any other suggestions would help me out..

you will not get 400/425whp with that cam you will need a bigger cam and probably heads and all suporting mods to get those #s just get your stock tb ported it will be better than aftermarket

if you dont mind me asking what cam would you recommend to be in the 400 hp range i dont want anything to radical maybe just tipping the 400 rwhp mark . i am looking into getting some ls6 ported heads of my buddy. also that cam is advertised to make more power than the 2002 ls6 cam set up which i know even if its advertised at 405 hp it doesnt make that much. how do i find out about what ratio of rockers to go with the cam set up i end up choosing? Thanks for you help and info

You would prolly like a 224 from TR or TSP or maybe as big as a 228r. The key to good manners is in the tune. Search those cams and see what ya think??

Ive seen alot of people making that much power with the asa cam. Its a smaller came only .525 lift with 224 intake and around 230 i think for exhaust. Do a search on it and youll be pleasantly surprised. Thats what im throwing around using

I prefer the ms3 from texas speed i havent had mine dynoed yet but partner put down 433rwhp with the ms3/fast 90 setup/hooker 1 3/4 long tubes/ ory / magnaflow catback/ slp lid / and a 85mm mass air. And that was with stock 853's. So if you do ls6 intake you should be around the 400-425 defenitaly. And it a streetable cam they are both are daily drivers with no problems and it pulls so hard.

Lightbulb

i looked up tsp's 224 cam and loved it i think im gonna get the cam head package with the tsp 224r cam and tsp 5.3 L stage 2.5 heads good set up good for 425 rwhp and only runs 1600 for the whole set up great price and its not to radical for what it makes. does anyone know what ring and pinion i have to run with that set up i have the stock 3.42 gear set if i am correct on my ss. on the ls6 intake i can just port my ls1 throttle body and it will work with the intake? or do i upgrade to an aftermarket? if it works anyone have a ported throttle body or know how much it runs?

LS1/LS6 Throttle bodies are interchangeable. A Ported unit will help, but not necessary. A ported unit will run ya $120-150.
