porting 243s, how much?

Default porting 243s, how much?

im getting my hands on a pair of 243 heads, im gonna reuse everything, but i want to get them ported if possible, anybody know how much that will run me

$60 for the porting kit. And your drill Just make sure not to touch the seats. Or you're looking at a costly valve grind

if i have a shop, do it for stage 1, how much will that run

I paid $800 for hand porting, valve job and assembly.

Yeah and while you're at it, get a big angle grinder with a 9" disk and mill .030 off the heads to bump up the compression. Then stick your dick on the bench and hit it with a hammer.

$5-600 would be about typical for porting alone. you could get a set of LS6 "style" heads cnc ported, assembled, brand new, for around $1000 last I remembered.

just mill them .030 and use as is, not worth porting them, imo
for the money u will spend porting them
u couldve bought the cnc new heads, range,800-1000$
they flow good as they are and with ls6 intake even better

If you have the money send them to TEA for a stg 1 port job.

Maybe $500-600 without a valve job.
