Default cam and ls6 numbers

just had my 232 234 113 lsa cam installed with an ls6 intake and supporting parts to be replaced (springs, pushrods etc.) dynoed at 369 on a mustang dyno with the cutout open on a hot day.

before the cam i was headers, ory, custom catback and made 326 to the rear wheels on a mustang dyno. i think it was a pretty damn good gain with just a cam and ls6 intake. with the cutout closed it made around 356 rwhp. we will see how she does on the track....i am definitally going to need gears though, it pulls around midrange pretty damn hard and just keeps pulling as it goes higher and higher. power doesnt even drop until around 6500 rpms.

stock over-axle pipe to a magnaflow muffler.

yeah i will be taking a trip to the track soon....hopefully on a cooler day, ran a 13.1 as a best time but ran a best trap speed of about 110 mph BEFORE the cam. so i should be around what? 12.4ish? i dunno i got mickey-t streets and some suspension work now well see!

Mustang dyno's are a hit or miss IMO. See my numbers below with my 233/239 cam.

Everyone on here seems to be too concerned with peak numbers. I'd prefer a car that pulls hard throughout the range rather than one that doesn't and peaks hard. congrats

yeah it pulls pretty damn hard just below midrange and then just keeps pulling harder and harder throughout the range of rpms. i DO need gears though. im going to run in about a week and see where i stand and choose my gears from there. probably going to go with a 3.90 gear for the rear, i wont know for sure until i find out where i stand.

also just got the dyno chart....i only gained 6 rwtq from before the cam....wtf? i know dyno doesnt really mean **** but damn....went from 326 rwhp 334 rwtq with headers, ory, cutout to 369 rwhp and 340 rwtq

it is essentially the torquer V.2

It's better to have a fast 369rwhp car than a slow 420rwhp car...

I'd like to see what this car does at the track. The cam is similar to mine.
