What Cam?
Yea so after being beaten by a turbo civic I am looking for a cam but I am new to this idea never really looked into it before. So i was wondering if anyone could help me out and give me some ideas for one. My mods are listed below and the N.O.S kit is being replaced with TNT F1 kit with TR6 plugs and a walbro fuel pump

Re: What Cam?
Are you using the HPPIII programing and the NOS 100 kit? If so, that's very risky. The advanced timing isn't good to use with nitrous.
How bad did you lose by? I can't imagine a turbo civic beating an LS1 with a 100 shot.
The cam really depends on what your looking for... you can go big and nasty or small or stealthy. best thing you can do is search the forum. This topic comes thru here on a daily basis. Good luck

Re: What Cam?
My recommmendation would be to look into a cam that is a single pattern or depending on how serious you want to get with the N20 then perhaps one with a split pattern. Again some other factors to consider would be lift, but this question has been beaten like a dead horse. Do a search in this forum and read up on cams. If you were looking for a shortcut to the magical cam then something ballpark 218-221/ 218-224 .563-.566(XE lobes) or .581-.581(XER lobes) depending on how aggressive you want your valvetrain and then of course do a custom 113 LSA with +3 advance.

Re: What Cam?
How serious are you about this, are you willing to change other parts to accomodate this cam, like headers, upgrading to an LS6 intake, and so on. How important is drivability to you. How offten are you willing to change springs, is this a daily driver, and how soon do you plan to get it tuned after you get the cam. All issuses that need to be addresed.

Re: What Cam?
Well I'm no cam expert, but I can tell you how happy I am with the cam I went with. It's the Futral Motorsports FM4 cam. 226/226 .575/.575 112lsa + 3. It's nasty. It has a great lope, turns alot of heads, and pulls to 6800rpms. I absolutely love it. with the cam, stock heads, and bolts ons I'm making 390rwhp N/A. I know alot of the guys on here really like the tr224 cams as well. Just take your time, do the right research, and go with what you want, not with what everyone else tells you to get. I can almost guarantee that no matter which cam you go with, after the install and tune you'll be thinking you should have gone just a little bit bigger.
