The engine will have to work harder to get you going with a cloged cat, one way to check is drive the car around and get the cat good and hot get out and look under the car if one or both are glowing red you have a clog. night time is the best. And if the cat came apart, the ceramic could be cloging the muffler. Do you hear any **** rattling around in the exhaust?

my car (2000 holden commodore 3.8L V6) came with no O2 sensors also there is 3 mufflers in the factory single exhaust system. i think one of the 3 mufflers is a catalytic converter. any one has idea on this car?
