Default Rod bolt question

I have a low mileage 6.0 lq4 I am looking to install better rod bolts in. The rod caps have been pulled one at a time to check the bearing. Can I install arp rod bolts with out having to machine or resize the rods? The bearing on this thing look brand new so that would be a waste. I have seen where people use katech to replace their stock rod bolts. Can I use ARP or not? I have heard people some people used them and then others say it could cause the rod cap to distort or some thing and kill the bearings. Is there any truth to this? If I can use ARp which ones can I use? they offer 2 different ones.

Get ready for people to tell you to resize the rods if you use ARP.

They say that the ARP bolts are heavier or longer or both and cause distortion. Therefore clamp differently. Katechs are the same dimensions as stock. This is the general consensus that I understand.
