dont buy a ms4 the ms3 is alot better. I have had friends with the ms4 around here and they suck compared to my ms3 and partriot heads. What heads are you going to run. If you have ported stock heads or stock heads and dont have alot of $ go with the TREX cam they are a good cam with stock heads. Bigger heads go with a ms3.
with my 370 full race weight car MS3/ PATRIOT STAGE 3 HEADS my car went 11.1 on motor.

I wouldn't go as far as telling someone the MS3 is better than the MS4...it has areas where it's better suited in some applications, but the average vehicle will make better power (peak and under the curve) with the MS4! Everything held constant, the MS4 will outperform the MS3 on the dyno and track. There are pros and cons of each for different situations!

I have the MS4 with the TSP kit. Came with the PRC double springs and hardened push rods. Makes great power (428rwhp) no problems driving around town or on the highway. Its a great cam, just make sure you have gears or a stall.

A good, custom grind cam is a lot cheaper then gears and will give you better power all the way across

with any high lift cam you'll need a dual spring kit. as for what cam to get has to be up to you. what some person loves, the next two or three ppl hate and say how horrible it is as you can start to see already. if your getting aftermarket heads, figure out which heads, then get a cam custom ground or suitable to your heads and intake. but that is just my opinion as everybody has their own.

This is more an opinion than anything. Im far from a professional engine builder. But people with small cams always bitch about people with big ones as "dyno queens". Saying they have no power down low. I run a 3500 stall. Why does my hp at 3k matter again?

Im still probably going to go turbo, but if i went N/A a ms4 would by high up on my list.

what ever you do dont skimp out on the springs with that cam. with the radical ramp rate of that cam springs are short lived on a DD car. its better to get more spring than you need than to cheap out with bare min. it will cost more to replace them sooner if you cheap out.
