I wouldn't claim to be an expert but I put an LS2 into my 69 Chevelle. I got alot of information from LS1 tech in the "conversion and hybrid" section. Then it was trial and error on some things. If you have some questions you can send me a message and maybe I can help.

This add was from the IE Craigslist, Feb 03...wants $3500 for 2007 5.3 with tranny and computer,,, hear it run before its pulled 17,000 miles,,, chris 951-973-6167......just go to CL and do a search for the "5.3", "6.0", LS engine, LS1, LS2or3, etc.

Get a 6.0 The 4.0 bore gives you more power from the start but SO MANY more options if you want to upgrade in the future.. and you will

Default 68 camaro with 5.3

theres so many places that sell a 5.3 for under 1000 with harness and computer.

if go on this website you will find a yard in your area that will cary any engine you want in the LS family, im doing a similar build myself with my 68 camaro.

go to this site

www.car-part.com

I found one at a local yard for 900 complete. I would strongly recommend the
T-56 6 speed cause auto is for ladies.

Default L92 without AOD

I am putting a L92 in a street rod and bought a computer with harness and relay panel [ for fans, fuel pump and computer feed ] from Humpries EFI for about $1100.00 and it works sweet. I had to change the TB to a mechanical unit and don't know what other options he can accommodate. He uses a mefi burn ecm and they are very tunable and used by a lot of people.
