Default Who makes waterpump spacers?

I want to use a ls2 vette style waterpump on my ly6 project that has a truck crank pulley. I remember reading that you can buy waterpump spacers but I cant find it now. Was it Mast maybe?

I found someone that makes them and sells them on ebay. Anyone know if they're any good?

Whats the census on spacers anyways. Are there many horror stories? I figure as long as they're machined straight and smooth and you use gaskets there shouldnt be a problem with leaks. I could use the ly6 pump but the upper hose is in a awkward place with the ls3 intake and the bell shaped pulley makes it even tighter in the cramped sonoma engine bay.

I can't find the thread but a member here made a very helpful guide on how to convert the truck water pump to work with the car manifolds. It required drilling and tapping the front boss on the water pump where the outlet on for an f-body style one should be and changing the pulley for an ls1 water pump pulley.

I swapped pulleys, but mine needed heater inlet/outlet mods anyway. I also wanted to keep the mechanical fan.
Spacers seem to work but another possibility is the Camaro L99 water pump. It's probably cheaper than an LS1 pump, spacers, and bolts.

Looked into the L99 waterpump since I can find them cheaper then the ls2 vette one but on the L99 they moved the inlet to the drivers side to right where the ls2 vette accessory drive runs.

Wow, now I'm really confused.
Are you wanting to run a truck pulley, with a passenger front outlet water pump (spaced for the truck), and a vette alt/PS pump spaced out to the truck spacing as well?

I bought some from these guys about a year ago. At that time they were about $40.00. Probably higher now. They can make whatever thickness you need. Phone is 920-394-3557. Website is www.wegnerautomotive.com

I originally wanted all vette accessories so theyll fit nicely under the hood of my sonoma but since I have vvt I have to keep the truck crank pulley so Im going to use kwik performance brackets that uses truck and fbody accessories but locates them in vette locations but with truck offset.

That makes sense now. Get the spacers or if you want to swap pulleys, I can tell you how.

Motovative Performance makes water pump adaptors which basically bolt to the block where the waterpump goes and has threaded fittings to run a remote waterpump, Not sure if that could also be used as a spacer.

Could you make them in a 1.5" spacer?
