Default LSX block mystery port and secondary oil pres point

What's the small 1/8" looking port on the left rear corner of the block, just off the valley cover? In between the steam port and the cover.

Also, where's a secondary port I can use for aftermarket oil pressure sender connection?

Thanks,
Charlie

There is nothing else back there.

You can drill and tap this piece for the gauge sender.

What I'm asking about is in the corner of the valley cover notch. Do you just have a bolt in there? Looks like you're using it for a ground?

Mine doesn't have that, I'm using a Milodon pan and the Oil filter is remote.

Yes, right rear of the block is just for the main engine harness ground bolt.

Then just use one of these on the pan fitting.

Thanks for the info. The guy that built my motor had taped it off, so I thought it was a port or something.

I was on Jegs last night poking around for a fitting like that but didn't see one. Looking at the driver side of the block, which port, left or right, is output and return?

Thanks,
Charlie

The rearmost fitting is the return from the filter. Putting the AN adapter on the rear fitting would be equivalent to tapping the adapter on a stock pan.
