Default LS2 block question

Does anybody know if the 05 Vette motors have the casting flash around the egdes of the oil returns ground off from the factory? I just noticed this appears to be the case on the LS2 block I have after I removed the valley cover.

Never heard of casting flash? I'll get a pic up for you later the edges have been ground down and cleaned up from the factory I guess.

I know what casting flash is. I just don't know where you are talking about, "oil returns"?

I guess you were talking about the oil drainback holes. Usually, yeah, they do look like they have been touched up.

Yeah exactly the drainbacks over the camshaft under the vally cover. I have a friend that works at a Chevy dealer as a mechanic he just told me he has seen this as well. Thanks for the input.
