Recently purchased newly ported L92 heads; I am looking for someone with experience that can tell me the appropriate thread sealer to seal the area in the intake where the porting process actually makes a small hole in each intake port (which opens a small area of the rocker bolt hole to the intake port); best sealer to use?

Teflon paste works just fine, available at autozone, etc.

autozone or any parts store should have some high heat thread sealer comes in a little tub

if you are using new GM rocker bolts, they have a lock tite type sealant on them. If you are re-using old ones, I would suggest putting a type of removable lock tite back on them.
