408 L92/L76 Procharger Build
Ok So I've finally got nearly everything needed for the build. Block is at the machine shop, Using JE -29cc Pistons, 4" Stroker crank and 6.125 rods. Block has a 0 deck, running .040 Cometic head gaskets. Now here comes the fun part...
I just CC'd my L92 heads and I have a 69.25 combustion chamber. I'm trying to get the compression ratio up to 9.5:1 as thats what LME is suggestion for a Procharger build. Now to get that compression ratio,
.006 milled off = 1cc
Need to drop 8cc
8 x .006 = 0.048
So in order to do that, the heads need to be milled to exactly 61cc
However I've read that milling near .050 is getting really thin, But on the other hand edcmat-l1 from Virginia Speed has claimed milling to 59cc with no problems. He just flat milled the heads and intake bolted up great. Here's the thread

I'm trying to get all my facts straight before I mill a set of heads, I'm not wanting to ruin them.
So that being said, what do you guys think, also, if this combination is possible, am I going to be limited on the type of cam I get? I'm looking to get a cam for about 17psi and a nice little loap to it. anyway its going to be custom specced for this build. Lemme know

9.5 seems like just a number people try to shoot for. I wouldn't hesitate at all to run an 8.5:1 motor behind a Procharger with those kind of cubes and that much boost. I'd just consider it extra insurance against detonation, especially on a pump gas motor. I wouldn't mill the heads if I wasn't comfortable with it.
