Default LQ4 Crank QUESTIONS

I have a LQ4 core i snagged cheap but it cooked the thrust bearing, and spun the two front mains. throws are all mint but the front three mains are toast, does anyone know how low you can safely take down that crank? lookin to run forged pistons, hot cam or little bigger and ls6 springs 500 hp or so on a carb. Its gonna be down more that .010" for sure.

You would need to measure to determine how much machining is required. Those crankshafts are very plentiful, it would be easier and cheaper to find a used one in good condition.

I agree...stock cranks are everywhere...just look for another one that isn't damaged, it'll cost you far far less.
