ls3 swap why god why!!!!
so i am installing a brand new ls3 motor out of a new 2010 camaro with 3 miles on it into my 98 camaro!!!! last night i could not get trans (m6) all the way in! it would go in polit but 1/4 out still! so come to find out i looked at my old ls1 and the new ls3 motors use a new style polit bearing. so the new bearing seats in the end of the crank as the ls1 bearing goes into the back smaller part of the crank. so hours later of fighting this P.O.S. i found this out!! so warning to everyone that does this swap to ls3 out of camaro you need ls1 polit bearing or use the new trans with shorter output shaft!!!!! why god why!!

ok i will try my laptop took a **** and i am at work on the net and it sucks!!! the guy i got the motor from is installing a new 427 twin turbo!!!!! nasty *** setup! i got motor in last night and when i reprogram injectors because ls3 comes with 42 lbs new then she will be ready to fire up!!!
