Default 6.2 max bore

What is the max bore you can go on the sleeves in a alum 6.2 Sticking with stock stroke and would like go bigger on the bore. 4.125 would be great

I have a scratch in one cyl that .005 will not take out.

I am very impressed with the way these things are built. plus the 96lb block is hard to belive.

Thanks
Tim

4.100 safley, the problem is that the block is built around the sleeves, so they are not centered. if they were centerd you might get a 4.125 bore out of them. rule of them is minium thickness of .080 for a sleeve

Fun looks like a custom piston for the L92

How bad is it to press a new one in. Custom piston vs shelf with new sleeve

wiesco custom pistons are $110 a piece. sleeves on average are $100 per sleeve installing price (that doesnt count purchasing price of the sleeve.). so $880 for pistons and $1500 plus for sleeves. if you call dimnd, wiesco, keith black, they usually have pistons for most applications.

With a 4.100 bore this means we can slap on some LS7 heads on the L92/LS3 blocks right?

I have a LS3 block, and the stock bore is 4.065" , and im planning on boring it out to 4.100" and with a 4.100 stroke to make a 434cid.

though its not optimal because the chamber will be shrouded slightly. Its still possible to run those heads is it not? If he really wanted to it could work and probably still make excellent power. Correct me if I'm wrong
