L92 build coming together...
Well for my turbo s-10 project I aborted the mission to run the motor stock besides eliminating the VVT. Its in the machine shop right now for forged R&P ( stock crank ). It was suggested that I look into a better oil pump but I asked on here before about the L92 pump and was told it would be more than sufficiant, just wondering if I should be concerned about it with the build taking a different direction? Im not opposed to spending the money at all, I just dont want to buy something thats really not needed after being told the L92 pump was pretty stout.
On a side note, I was wondering if anyone wanted to take a shot in the dark on what to expect out of the motor N/A. Dropping the compression to 10.1:1 and bought a cam package today from texas speed. 229/240 .624 int .610 exh on 114+3. Dont plan on running the motor without a turbo to start with, just kinda wondering where the changes would put me. I know squat about cams, just went with what was suggested for me and really hoping it pays off i meant to ask when I bought the cam, i was just so excited to be buying more parts it slipped my mind a bit
