Gen IV block + Gen III heads-----Which head bolts?

Default Gen IV block + Gen III heads-----Which head bolts?

I have a gen Iv iron 6.0 that i am putting my gen III heads on out of my 98 ls1. wich head bolts do i need? the short gen IV ones or the longer Gen III ones?

You need the ones that match the block. If its a Gen IV block, then use the Gen IV style headbolts which are all the "medium" length as compared to the Gen III LS1 block.

If you're not sure if they are all the same length, stick a piece of wire down in the bolt holes. Then you will know for sure if they are all the same depth.
