Gen IV block + Gen III heads-----Which head bolts? I have a gen Iv iron 6.0 that i am putting my gen III heads on out of my 98 ls1. wich head bolts do i need? the short gen IV ones or the longer Gen III ones?

You need the ones that match the block. If its a Gen IV block, then use the Gen IV style headbolts which are all the "medium" length as compared to the Gen III LS1 block.
