Default NEW ECM not working

We have bought a LS7 from Mast Motorsports. Link to the actual engine: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIbXJ-D_65s.
The engine was installed 4 weeks ago. After having started the engine approxemately 15 times, the ECM did not work any more. Together with Mast we found out that a red and black cable had been hooked up with +. According to Mast that could have caused the problem. We disconected that and bougth a new ECM. This time the engine was not hooked up with the red and black cable. After starting the engine about 15 times, the ECM did not work any more.

We would like to know what can have caused this, and how can we know if the ECM is dead or just lost its programming?
Has this happened to anyone else?

We are going to call Mast about this, but as we are close to a race, we want to have as much input as possible.

So you must be also using their wiring harness. This should be their problem to solve. Perhaps there is a problem with the harness. A new harness and new ECM may be the fix.

This is an isolated case and we are working diligently to locate the source of the problem!
