LS3 valve spring tool wont work on LS7. help...

LS3 valve spring tool wont work on LS7. help... The tool bolts onto the head but its already bottom'd out so I cannot compress the springs. I am using the Crane LS3/L92 tool. Any input?

Lone Star Muscle makes a nice LS3/7 in car valve spring compressor. It's slotted to compensate for the valve spacing. Scoggin Dickey has them in stock I believe. SC-167 is the part #.
