Default 6.0 block bored .060 with ls3 bottom end

So I was just wondering if this was possible. Isn't the stock stroke on ls2 and ls3 different?. Can I put a ls3 bottom end in a 6.0 block? Since its bored .060 over (I know to get it sonic checked but I found one on a hell of a deal) what would that make it? Was not planning this route but the block is basically free. Any help would be appreciated or stick with ls2 bottom? I have searched but nothing difinitive

The reluctor wheel is different but should work fine. My 6.0 block is bored to 4.060 and no problems.

if you already have a ls2 bottom end its praticly the same as a ls3 bottom end, theres no difference other than the reluctor wheel, in theory all you would need is different pistons, so why dont you buy the block sell the ls3 bottom end (so you dont have to worry with the reluctor wheel) and use that money to get some forged pistons and rods

The reluctors are different and the strokes are the same. The actual bore for an LS3 is 4.065 and the LS2 is 4.000

Nothing wrong with .060 over in a 6.0. If anything, should be more concerned with proper bearings clearances and quality of assembly
