The pistons I'm using are for a 6.125 rod/3.48 stroke combo. I'm off-set grinding the crank to 3.50 stroke to make up for some of the difference in rod length, then check deck height to see where we're at. If it's not too far down in the hole I'll just cut the deck. If it's in a block that's welded between the cylinders or has five sleeves, who cares? There's lots of parts at the shop that are more or less junk to customers, but that doesn't mean I can't throw something together from the "good" junk. This is for a circle track motor, probably 300-325hp at the most. I definitely wouldn't recommend a customer build an engine like this.

You're building a 4412 Holley 2bbl street stock engine aren't you????
Those are perfect to make out of shop scrap and then beat the hell outta ....
I've built plenty of them over the years and the biggest piles seem to surprise
me the most.

Yep, but I get to run the 1850 Holley 4bbl.
