They look and sound like nice heads I was wandering if anyone had any experience with them too. The intake ports are HUGE though. Kinda makes me wonder how they would work on a street engine.

The RHS LS7 heads are nice pieces. However, the intake runners aren't as large as it may seem at a glance. They are 291cc intake runners, but they are also raised runner heads. They have an extended face that adds runner length and volume. This allows a standard FAST LS7 intake (as well as other LS7 type intakes) to be used. For this reason, when you compare the cylinder heads, you should look carefully at runner CSA.

The head you are talking about.
A solid roller cam i did thats roughly 254/271@.050.
Holley Hi Ram intake...
Made 773@8000 and it hadnt peaked yet... owner got nervous and wouldnt let the dyno guy go 8500.
Cam wasnt intended to peak that high.
With a tweak to the camshaft, intake porting and some more tuning that motor will make 800-820 hp na pretty easy we think.

Im using a set of these on a turbocharged build. They appear to be a quality casting.
