I thought most if not all LS engines had pistons supplied by Mahle?

Or are these the actual 4032 forged pieces instead of hypers?

Default More info

You might like to review this LONG article on the history of the LS7. It seems to be up to date, with a direct mention of the Camaro pistons about half through the article.

I would buy a Vette before I pay that much for that pig(4000lb+).
FYI its curb weight is closer to 3700lbs.

But I agree, it's way overpriced given the other options out there.

If it were 3100lbs... then they might have something. Oh wait, that's called a Vette and it and costs less. Blah.

It might even be quicker than an V LT1 vette. Not sure about that, something else should explain why the Z28 costs more than a base C7 vette..

-Hand built engine
-Carbon ceramic brakes
- Model specific body panels, suspension, wind tunnel, and engineering that must be recovered over a small production run as opposed to a much larger production run. Plus demand over a small production run that allows them to run up some extra profit. Which is kinda the point of a corporation.

Just a few things that come to mind. It's not like they called up RK Sport for the body panels.
