C5Z Ls2 Heads and Cam Package....
I have a C5z but it has an Ls2 6.0l motor in it now w 243s and a Mid 230s Cam in it right now w 243s, and a Ls6 Intake. Car makes 425whp and 420Trq
Looking for around 500whp (The more the better) AND keep the Torque up along side it as much as possible.
Ive seen alot of ppl go w and Ls3 Top end swap, also seen ppl fail puttin these combos together and not make what they wanted. Ls3s seem to be more Cam Picky as far a specs go
I have the option to take the 243s off and send them out to have them cnc ported and valve jobbed
OR
Go w a set of after market casting and get a better valve angle also
MUST HAVES:
-Want to use factory GM rockers. (I have herd of Brian Tooley putting in Powdered Metal Guides for this on heads)
-Will not change the hood to fit a huge high rise intake
-will not cut the cowl up to fit an Intake as well

You can make 500rwhp with the LS2 if you put a pretty decent cam in it along with some high end heads, but I doubt you'll be there with the torque unless you go with a high high compression ratio.
LS3s will work when ported properly, but you are better off going with a nice cathedral port aftermarket set if you want power and torque.
