can some one post the part number for a ls3 corvette crank pulley
just like the title says. I picked up a 2011 ls3 out of a corvette to put in my 92 mustang coupe. I need a crank pulley bolt. tried a stock ls1 bolt but it was too short.

What ever you do, do not reuse an oem crank bolt...they are TTY bolts which means they are torqued until the bolt begins to stretch in a non elastic way...thus if you reuse them they will break...if you need a new one go with the arp... http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ar...make/chevrolet

Not all LS3s are wet sump esp in a 2011 model. Some are dry sump and have a longer crank snout. Seems like you may have the dry sump setup.
We have a few options for you, but you will def want to confirm what you have.

Seems like you def have a dry sump motor.
Did you put a different pan on it?
If not, the dry sump pan has 2 tubes that bolt into the pass side of the oil pan for the feed and return. If you changed the pan, you will DEF need to change the oil pump unless you want to buy the dry sump tank and lines.
That is unless someone pulled all the threads out of the crank...

On another note is there any benifit to the short block being hand assembled? Sux there is a few extra things I will have to do to put this short block in my coupe mustang. I thought only the ls7s were dry sump. Im guessing the ls9s are too?

You would have to have the crank professionally shortened. The only place qualified to do that is Mile High Crankshafts or Ohio Crankshaft. It will cost alot more than using the spacer. We will get back with you tomorrow hopefully.
LS3 M6 grand sports, LS9, LS7, and new LT1s and the LT4 in the new Vettes.
IMO the best performance engine is the LSA. Badass performance and alot of the better parts of the LS9 for alot less money. And wet sump too.
