I think you woul not be happy with that setup. Depending what your intended use is for the car is should be taken in considerition before you drop in a LS9 cam. If your after more top end power I might consider the LS9 but you will be losing alot of low end power.
I have been researching this same issue on swapping out my DoD cam. From what I have read and what others have suggested the LS9 cam is not a very good for dailey driving. Take a look at this; http://www.carcraft.com/techarticles...st_comparison/
you can see where the LS9 is down 40ish hp under 2500 rpm and 20 hp under 3500 rpm. The gains are good in the upper end but how offten are you going to be in that rpm level?
