build gen iv 5.3 as gen iv or convert to gen iii I am doing a ls swap into my 94 camaro (I already have a ls1 trans am, just want my lt1 car swapped).
Anyway, I have a 5.3 gen 4 block bored out to a 5.7. Im looking for the easiest, most efficient way to do this swap. Should I build the block as a gen 4 with gen 4 computer, wiring harness, heads, cam ect. ect. Or build it as if it was a gen 3 car and do the conversion kits to make it just like a 4th gem ls1 car. I have no parts for this right now other than a full ls1 kmember (with accessories) and the 5.7 bare block.
Which direction should I go?
