Default 4" Stroke Windage tray?

Anyone running a 4" stroke GM perf. windage tray i need one for the LSX build and i know the stock trays can be spaced but i dont have one at all so i figured get one that requires no work to fit right!
Gm also has 4.125 and 4.200 trays just dont think i need more than the
4" one being thats what i'm at but i like to know if the 4" tray has ample clearance.

I have a custom sheet metal pan and the Mast tray costs $30 more.

I am running the Holley retrofit muscle car pan with a 4.185" stroke, and all I had to do was space the L92 windage tray down with two washers on each stud...worked perfectly...So if you can find a stock one for cheap you can just space it down....not an aftermarket tray but just a thought....

If you buy the GM Performance part windage tray do you still have to modify the oil pan pickup tube to maintain the proper clearance?

I would not think so as the tray is probably lower in the center but still looking for anyone that has used them to confirm!

Lowering the windage tray will lower your pickup tube as well. Bend the tube bracket to account for this and then measure the distance between the bottom of the pickup tube and the oil pan with molding clay/putty. You want this gap to be between 1/4" and 3/8".
