Best Place to get LSA heads
I keep seeing threads where people are getting LSA heads for $300
Ea. (bare). I cant find them that cheap and I have searched all over the internet.
Where is everyone buying these? I'm looking to get a set and have someone port them and ill put all my own valve train in it.

There a few places PACE/SDPC...etc but this the real way to get GMPP. Go in to a local dealer have part# ready ask 4 the parts dept. manager have the real listed price and the mark up price and compare them 2 SDPC... Remind them that shipping cost and he could just sell you the heads for the real price.... Throw in lunch, that will be cheaper than your shipping cost.
SDPC sold my heads LS3(823castings) 175.oo bare ea. KNAPP (CHEVY dealer) here in the H listed them for 215.oo ... I paid 175.oo@ KNAPP made a friend got MARK a good $20 lunch and 6yrs later we are still friends and he runs his own GM/ Caddy dealership. Still get rock bottom prices to this day...I know how to make my $ work 4 me....and build friendships in town. Try it out what do you got 2 LOSE.

Nope. The LSA heads are roto-cast from a better grade of aluminum. They also have a "wing" in the intake ports to induce swirl that makes a real difference on a supercharged engine, maybe not so much for a NA engine. They seem to have the same deck thickness (but of a stronger aluminum) and have reinforcing ribs around the head bolt holes. I believe that they're the same casting as LS9 heads. I bought new, fully assembled LSA heads for a little over $500 each.
