Assuming you have a 58x crank reluctor. You will need the lingenfelter reluctor wheel conversion module, a new harness for the map sensor and a new harness for the cam and knock sensor. The last link I posted has all of the information for converting to an LS3. When I converted my ws6 I had to drill and tap the block for the ls1 knock sensors and on the starter I had to cut the stud off on the end to clear the knock sensor. Also on my cam harness adapter two wires were in the wrong location (iirc it was the outside wires).

Isn't pretty much all the info for this in a sticky at the top of this page? I'm doing an LS3 also and have my motor in as of last weekend, but I'm going aftermarket ECU.
The Gen III cam is the flip of the Gen IV so swap the outer wires as mentioned above. You will have to do something about the crank trigger being 58x, swap to 24x, use converter box, or go after market ECU. Throttle body is a 4 bolt instead of 3 bolt, it will also be larger 90mm and up. Knock sensors are different, 2 wire vs old 1 wire. Not a lot changed really. They added DOD to block, moved cam and changed crank. Heads are different, so intake changes, but only intake rockers are different.
