Should be for a M6 car. Mike from Rapid Motorsports has a couple of LS2 402's well over 500 rwhp and one at 562 rwhp. Search the dyno section for his results. I'm finally nearing completion of mine and installed one of his cams.

I'm running the AFR 225 72cc heads unmilled. Rapid Motorsports and Don (Slowhawk) at DEZ racing also run the AFR 225's.

i think there's more power in afr 225!!! the flow is most defently more !!!!there more timming can be used !!!! i heard the head & gasket aren't perfect match thats on smaller strokers im no motor builder maybe some can shed more light or i could be wrong

You should check out the numbers that TEA gets out of both the afr's and the LS6 heads. The midlift numbers on the stage 3 LS6 are actually better.

The cost factor is near the same at that point. If you have the LS6 heads it is cheaper to get them worked than go the AFR route.

If you already have a high compression motor and want forced induction the afr's are better to go with.

You need to run a 4.130 bore gasket for the AFR 225's.

I got Mikey's second LS2 402, here is the link
https://ls1tech.com/forums/showt...0&highlight=402. The car runs and drives perfectly. If you have any questions about my setup just ask away or send me an email to jbelche2@yahoo.com.

I run the ASP pulley. Don't know about the actual gains, but the engine definitely revs faster and it's much easier to take off and install compared to the stock pulley.

I'm doing the complete install at home and swapped a new rear end, fuel system and trans so I can't give a true total cost. I believe (check their website) Rapid Motorsports has a LS2 402 longblock for around $10K assembled. Which is a killer deal when you take into consideration the time and parts included.

Thats high! SDPScoggin Dickey can get you an LS2 longblock with AFR Heads for around $7200.
