Default LS Camshafts @ Scoggin Dickey!

I've been reading where quite a few of you guys are taking notice of the Crane Z-cam lobes, so I figured I'd refresh everyone's memory on what SDPC has been doing with these camshafts for a year or two already! We have worked with Crane Cams on a few different grinds and just wanted to let everyone know what they are. We have them in stock, along with any other valvetrain parts you might need!

Z+220 220/224 @ 0.050 0.551/0.551 lift on a 114 $354.25
The Z-Plus 220 is a step above the venerable ZO6 camshaft, excellent choice for stock cylinder heads and mild bolt-on upgrades. Good idle quality with noticeable "cam upgrade" sound. We suggest the ZO6 valve spring kit with this cam.

LT228 228/228 @ 0.050 .600/.600 lift on a 113 $354.25
LT= "Little Thumper"! Our LT228 is made specifically for those with ported heads and plenty of bolt ons. If your heads flow air past the .600 mark use a set of the 1.8 rockers for a total of .635 lift. Will also work with non-ported heads and those desiring a mild racy idle that defines the "I've got a cam sound"! A solid mail-order tune (at very least) will be beneficial! We suggest a 3.73 gear and 2800rpm converter for automatics. Excellent everyday driver for gear heads! Use spring kit # SD1426 for this cam.

N228 228/236 @ .050 .551/.600 lift on a 114 $354.25
The N228 was made for those who like to play with the "silly gas". Perfect camshaft for bolt-on guys with stock or ported heads and a shot of nitrous for the weekend assault on the asphalt. We recommend long tube headers, good exhaust, and a minimum of 3.73 gears. A solid tune is a must! We also recommend a 3,000 stall converter for auto's.

ST236 236/236 .551/.600 on a 113 $354.25
ST= "Street Thumper! the ST236 is your last chance before you move in with the "Big Dawgs"! If you are the weekend warrior trying to lay down some decent ET's and still drive the car to work on Monday morning, then try the Street Thumper! Serious race idle sound; cam will require tuning, minimum stall of 3,500, 4.10 gears, and you know the drill!

BS240 240/246 @ .050 .600.600 lift on a 112 $354.25
BS= "Big Stick"! You know the old saying, "Don't carry a knife to a gun fight!" Enough said ~ this is the Big Stick for all of you street fighters!

SS250 250/258 @ .050 .580/.580 lift on a 108 $354.25
SS= "Super Stick!" it's kind of like kryptonite-----the super Stick is faster than a speeding bullet! We recommend 1.8 rockers for a .614 total lift!

We have other cams available, and will be happy to assist in any custom grind you might be looking for!

We are actually going to be testing a very similar setup on a 402ci motor in the coming weeks. It should make very good power, assuming you have an L92 friendly piston and won't be smacking any valves to pistons!

Matt:

Sammy from your place put together a 402 and installed it in my GTO last October. I want to go with the L92 heads and a .638" lift cam. Will this clear given the -14cc pistons you use?

Thanks!
