Default Trickflow 235 cc

All you big cube guys out there.

When people are talking about Trickflow 235 cc heads, what are they meaning?

Do they mean heads purchased directly from trickflow at 235cc. Or raw casting ported by Tea to 235cc?

The reason I am asking is that I want to run them on my stroker 440 and I am not sure where to buy them from?

I looked on trickflow website and the have 235cc on there.
Does TEA port these tricklows to get better numbers? Or are the same thing?

That should be the finished cnc'ed port volume.

To my knowledge, TEA gets cores and CNC's them.

Good head I hear.

They are shipped to TEA as cast, by TFS. TEA then CNC's them.

Are you sure they are 6 bolt heads?

TEA does all of the CNC work for TFS. All the castings come from trick flow raw, and TEA does all of the remaining work. There are no other parties involved. They do not come in 6 bolt. They are a aftermarket casting, not stock. In a nut shell, you can say Trickflow is TEA when it comes to LS series heads. They come in 215, 225, 235, and 245 cc versions.

I'll add that although all TFS heads are cnced by TEA, that you really should buy them from TEA directly.

TEA as well as TrickFlow are owned by Summit Racing. TEA actually refers ALOT of sales to its distributors/dealers. We actually sold more TrickFlow Cylinder Heads than anyone in the country including Summit Racing.

Wow, there's some food for thought! I noticed some parts of the Trickflow website looked a lot like Summit's, that explains it.
