are you looking for dyno#'s or to go fast at the track? if the dyno#'s are what you want just get the dyno guy to inflate the #'s.

G5X3 don't laugh I am thinking about putting it back in my car. The L92 heads do not like big cams. Trust me I have tried 3 to date.

Fellas, keep in mind it's going in a truck! Between these heads not wanting a ton of camshaft, and it being a heavy truck Danny isn't going to enjoy a 25x intake duration camshaft!

I still think the MS3 or MS4 would be fun, Danny...particularly with that gear/stall!

LOL. We get it, you like Futral!

We've all built and owned a few Trailblazers and Silverado's by now. The trucks have been around since '99

For an L92 truck, you want strong low and mid-range torque. As mentioned, the L92s don't like a lot of overlap nor do they need lots of intake duration. With Pacesetter headers and an untouched exhaust port, you're going to need plenty of exhaust duration though.

I'd recommend a 226/238 .609/.607 114LSA +1 advance.

I have a 248/256 615 605 112 in a 402ci w/l92heads l76 intake. It was custom ground to match the flow of the heads.

I would agree with that.

Just a few years ago we all ran 224/224 cams in our 346's. A few of use made into the 10's. So I don't think you should overcam for a few peak HP. It's a truck, use it like one.
