Question other then Assembly Lube , is there any way to Get oil throught engine ? before runin

other then using assembly lube , is there any way to run oil around in the engine , as it would normally run when the engine is running ?

You can do it with a external pump connected to the oil galley.

Question how could i get an external pump ?

where could i buy an external pump at ? this would be really handy ..

I have an Accusump that hold 3 quarts of oil. It's great to pre-lube the engine before starting.

The one I use is a Weldon oil pump. It won't run more than about 15 minutes with pressure (gets hot), but it sends oil all through the engine in that time.

Mine is a Weldon 9200-A, it is used to pump diff fluid or trans oil to coolers in a road race car. I use it with a -6 to power steering adapter which is 14mm like our oil galley plugs, just put a -6 o-ring over the threads on the power steering adapter and screw it into the side of the block up by the pump.
