Default l92 heads or tfs 235'S lets discuss for my 408

As the title says. I have a 408 that is fresh. -2cc valve reliefs flat tops. 244 248 612 615 on a 108 lobe sep. Vic Jr. intake 950cfm holley. Which is going to yield me the better track results. Dont care about drivability. Bottom end is set up for a 300 shot as well. I also have a carb intake for the l92s. Just need to make up my mind. Give me your thoughts please. Thanks .

I believe the Trickflows have a stronger deck than the OEM castings, that would be more beneficial than anything on gas.

I have read that the L92 heads are a thin cast,so think you would be better off with TFS.

Trickflow 235's no doubt. Been there and done that. Especially with your cam and NOS. Give us a call we will get you set up.

That cam probably won't fit with L92's anyways. I would go with the best heads you can afford. The TFS will definitely outperform the L92's. By the time you add a ported FAST, you will spend around $2000 more. If you got the money do it, it will be faster!

But I am not running a fast set up. I am running a carb. Thanks anyways. I was concerned about the thickness of the casting especially with the amount of spray I can run on the bottom end. Keep the thoughts a coming so I can make an informed descision.
