Nice ride... I have always loved this platform, it's a shame our G8s died so soon, and the Chevy SS Sedan is years away. US EPA can also suck it.

Totally missed these replies, haven't been on here much.

Munz - Yeah it's FE2, the pics with the 19" wheels on the beach and all that it was lower though, but I put the fe2 back in after having issues with police attention.

Thanks everyone else, its fun to drive.
Will be racing it again next month in my first bracket race meet so hopefully that goes well.

What tyres are you using at the track and which track? Calder or Heathcote?

Mt et street radials in 235/60/15
I race at both but preference has always been Calder park.

Little update.

I entered a nitro meet the weekend just gone. I was in super street.

1st qualifying run I had fuel surging issues.
1.573 60'
11.85@103mph - just rolled through the last of the fun because it wasn't getting fuel.
Finally got a 1.5 60' previous best was 1.606

Secon qualifying run
1.559 60'
11.705@114.95 - new pb. Previous was 11.790

3rd qualifying run
1.573 60'
11.728@114.75

Being that it was my first dyo style race meet I'd entered I asked advice from a couple friends. They suggested 11.68 dial in. So I went with that.

First elimination run.
11.68 dial in.

Rt .261
1.601 60'
11.813@114.36

My opponent Dialed in 11.08
He ran
Rt .305
1.579 60'
11.165@117.48

He beat me by .0055

Was a good learning experience for me though. Had lots of fun and ill be back go try again.

Little update, diff is stuffed. First mechanical issue from about 100 passes down the track and heaps of street abuse.

Had it tuned to e85 last week, 60lb injectors and a new fuel pump. Feels more responsive, but could do with some more compression. THat will happen after I fix the diff.

Hey mate what extra power did you end up making going to e85? What comp are you running?

Currently stock comp, got some milled 243's going on soon.

Not sure on power increase, the converter is flaring on the dyno so the figure actually dropped.

But the car is more responsive.
