Just curious, I know it's a little early. I've been reading on the HRM forum some trying to see if there's any news.

Pretty sure it'll start near Bristol somewhere! There has been/ and was a lot of talk this year of Texas.....maybe ending here or having venues, nothing is set yet though.

From the Hot Rod forum >> "My apologies, but schedules will likely change to June 5 kickoff date.
We're trying to get the cities together, but it will be awhile before we get it done.

Yes I know, that was gay. The guys at the Somerset trailer should have had a sign and should have had something in their brochure stating that somerset was in a dry county- that would have helped alot of us out.

The 15th Annual 2009 Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour covered 1176 miles this year. That distance is about average for the Power Tour. It is usually in the 1200 mile range. It was the biggest one ever held. There were 1342 cars occupied by 2375 people who made the Long Haul and the total number of cars that participated on the tour was 4571. All of these numbers were the highest in the history of the event. Estimated attendence to all of the cruise ins was 69,000 people. I had a great time as usual too ...
