Traded my fox for my first F-body!
Hello everyone, just got my first LS1/Fbody yesterday. Im from south bend, indiana. I had an 89 mustang LX convertible. It was a fully built 5.0 with AFR heads/cam/intake. It had a built AOD, 6pt cage, welds etc etc etc. Its best pass was a 12.39 on a small shot of juice. I traded that car even up for a 1999 Trans am WS6 ram air automatic. Car is origional and unmolested. Its got alot of miles (150,000) but its a 2 owner car and has had all servicing done every so often. It hasnt been beat on at all, and had the oil changed every 3,000. Still gets great oil pressure, and im hoping it has alot of life left in it.
I will start slowly with the mods (college kid) but it will end up with a lid, hooker catback, custom y pipe using flowmaster merge pipe, some kind of longtubes. I also want to get some kind of tuning program, so i can adjust a few things. I want to put a converter in the car at some point, and will do a trans cooler then. Possibly an ls6 intake in the future.
Anyway just happy to be in an LS1 car!

12.39 is a simple bolt-on LS1, especially in a A4. So I believe you made the right choice.

Thanks crpndeth,
I miss him, he passed at 15 years and 25lbs.
He was an actual breed, " maincoon ".
And welcome once again zrsnopro97,
I think you'll be happy with your 1999 WS6.
Lot's of information, parts and aftermarket for our LSX powered cars.
Fairly easy to work on too.
