Default My 1st F-body...

Just bought my 1st F-body a few weeks ago. Found a completely stock and very clean WS6. Now the transformation begins...

Just bought:
  • New TT2's (17x11 & 17x9.5)
  • SLP Y pipe
  • Shorty Headers
  • NGK Iradiums
  • MSD wires
  • Pioneer Head Unit
  • Kicker Amp
  • All new Kicker speakers
  • Cartek Clutch
  • Volant T/A Intake

That should keep me busy for a week or two...

That was another requirement. Took awhile, but I found it. They were:
  • Black
  • WS6
  • M6
  • T-top
  • Unmolested
  • Clean

Yea those last two requirements are getting harder and harder to meet... good time to buy!

Thanks. I wanted something in the same color scheme as my truck. I have a thing for black:

Going from stock manifolds to shortys is not worth the couple WHP IMO.

Skip the shorty headers and go straight to long tubes.

Agreed. Don't waste your money on shorty headers. The stock manifolds are pretty much shorties, long gone are the days of the restrictive log-style manifolds on the old Chevy small blocks.

Long tubes are worth every penny, made a huge difference on my car.

I'd love to, but if anyone has driven on PA roads, there is a reason for keeping as much ground clearance as possible. I'd be picking my LTs up off the turnpike somewhere.

Agreed 20-25HP at the tires makes the LTs the only way to go.
